Yay! It's raining, it's pouring, could do without the wind and freezing cold, though. Last look-see at the weather it was 8 degrees with 8mm in the rain gague.
I know it sounds wierd to be so happy there was no horse play, but the rain made the first day of our new group just fabulous! We lit the fire in the lounge, watched videos, had a leisurely lunch, ate far more junk food than is good for us, and left the ponies all huddled in their rugs staying warm, too.
I did take some photos but as I have nothing set up on the QS site for them yet (can't do big uploads/downloads and Shane and Darran are busy doing the forum changeover so I will not bother them until after that is done) I will make a page on my own site.
Next month we will try and get a safe venue in Wagga if the weather is nice to play as we missed out on horse play this month. Next date is Sunday 25th May 2008 and is scheduled for Mt Austin in Wagga Wagga but may be at the Gregadoo Road Agistment Centre out past Lake Albert Pony Club.
